Greetings;
I am Lloyd, and with my wife, Ellen, we spend half the year in Leyte and the other half in the USA. My hobbies include woodworking, gardening, and computers. I saw a need for a forum that addresses building & construction issues in regards to the Philippines, so I started this Blog and associated forum.
Many building practices are quite different in the Philippines compared to what westerners are accustomed to, and many times westerners try to impose their standards when building a house. You must compromise and have a harmonious mix of the two.
It’s my desire that the forum will provide an exchange of ideas and prevent the many pitfalls encountered when building a house here. Please join, asks questions, and help the next guy out, so he can learn from your experiences.
