A pictorial of Dave's Surigao City, Mindanao building experience.
Browse through the pictures and get a sense of what the entire process of building a house in the Philippine entails.

Over on the Yahoo group ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/achouseproject/ ) Dave
was kind enough to share his building experience with the others. He documented
all expenses with an EXCEL spreadsheet, and the building process through photos.

He has been kind of enough to give me permission to post his work here.

The house is located in Surigao City, Mindanao and final cost was 2.6 million pesos
(land, permits, fees, labor, and material). Which I think is very reasonable.

I have converted his EXCEL spreadsheet in to a PDF ( 70 K ),
which you can download/open it here: Building expenses

You can download the original at the Yahoo group FILE section.
